2014 WORLD CUP TICKET PRICES REVEALED

 

 Fifa have confirmed the ticket sale will start on August 20, 2013, ahead of the showcase event, which begins on June 12, 2014
The cheapest ticket for a 2014 World Cup match for overseas fans to buy will cost €69, Fifa has confirmed on Friday.

The first batch of tickets are set to go on sale on August 20 at 12:00 CET (11:00 BST).

The least expensive tickets for Brazilian residents start at €11 for 47 of the 48 group-stage contests and are available to students, over-60s and members of the Bolsa Familia social welfare programme.

Approxiately three million tickets will be available during the three sale phases ahead of football's biggest tournament, which begins on Thursday, 12 June 2014.

The second sales phase runs from December 8, 2013 until April 1, 2014, with final sales taking place from April 15. Tickets for the final, which is to be hosted at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro on July 13, start at €335 with the most expensive being €755 for international fans.
